What is Dermafile?

Dermafiling, much like Microdermabrasion, is a skin polishing and resurfacing tool made of stainless steel and finely crushed cosmetic diamonds. The only difference is that this tool doesn't require suction, which makes it better and safer for mature, rosacea, telangiectasia (broken capillaries), and sensitive skin. This makes Dermafiling much more appealing to Skincare Specialists, including myself, who has opted away from my Microdermabrasion machine. I find the results substantial and it will not degrade elastin fibers over the course of time. This file lightly polishes the skin by hand, removing the top layer of dead skin cells, and leaving velvety smooth, fresh, rejuvenated skin. I have total control of the process, allowing varying levels of the epidermis to be safely removed. It is a very effective tool for treating aging and sun damaged skin, scars, acne scarring, pigmentation, stretch marks, fine lines and enlarged and clogged pores. There are three different grits for the Dermafile including fine, medium and coarse, which we can work gradually to treat your skin.
